These examples of analytic directed graphs serve only to illustrate the possibilities of the concept. In fact, the concept is only really workable if there is an interdisciplinary team working on and monitoring the consistency, completeness and precision of the causal relationships and the underlying explanations. The causal relationships represented by it must start from empirically proven scientific facts. The graphs themselves are not evidence but a tool to present scientifically assumed evidence.
