Circular processes
Galaxies rotate. Just like planets and stars, entire galaxies exhibit a steady rotation. They rotate around their own centre, often driven by the gravity of a supermassive black hole at their centre and the dynamics of the universe.
The oxygen cycle, the water cycle, blood circulation; negatively charged electrons orbit their positively charged nucleus. Everything is in motion, and the most important processes – without which there would be no universe and no life – are circular.
In causality diagrams, the final node of one process becomes the first node of another process. An example illustrated using such diagrams is the water cycle. Below is the diagram showing evaporation, the final stage in the circular sequence: rain, drain and infiltration, which was used as an examples above.
